My work is self-representational. By combining imagery from my
dreams, reality and fantasies I hope to communicate the fragmented nature of
identity. Different images have various meanings in a kind of personal
symbolism. In this way my work is intended to reflect both the light and
dark sides of self; exploring inner versus outer reality without ever using
images of my physical self.
