Winter is on its way and the leaves are changing to their final colours. The frost has arrived and it covers everything with its white shiny silver powder. The berries are luminous in red and purple against the wintery hedgerows
For her work in response to silver and barbara’s inspirational poem, Fiona has created a body of work that reflects her love of nature and the detail within found objects. She has created six pieces in response to the Seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Autumn is her favourite season of all and she finds this is when she is at her most creative. For Fiona, Autumn is both a beautiful and mesmerising month. This body of work reflects Fiona’s eye for detail and the beauty in the often-overlooked places that we so often are too busy to see.
